Tom Ingram
Tom Ingram made his BTCC debut in 2014 with the Speedworks team and ended the year as top rookie, before scoring a first podium for both himself and the team the following season.
Scoring his maiden victory in 2016, Tom would twice be crowned as Independents’ Champion during his time with the Toyota team before taking on a new challenge with a switch to EXCELR8 for 2021.
Giving the team a first win at Snetterton, Tom went on to achieve a lifelong dream in 2022 as he added his name to the list of people to lift the BTCC title, which he is focused on reclaiming for Team VERTU in 2025.
Tom Chilton
Tom Chilton joined the BTCC in 2002 at the age of just 17 and at the time, was the youngest driver to ever take part in the series. A podium finish was a sign of things to come as he marked himself as one to watch, ending his rookie season fifth in the Independents’ Championship.
His first victory in the championship at Silverstone in 2014 made him the series' youngest ever winner, and alongside continued success in the BTCC, Tom would go on to race at the front in the like of the American Le Mans Series and the World Touring Car Championship.
Having won the Independents’ Trophy during a five-year stint in the latter, Tom returned to the BTCC in 2017 and since 2022, has been part of the Team VERTU line-up – making a welcome return to the top step of the podium.
Adam Morgan
He might be the new kid on the block in the Team VERTU line-up, but Adam Morgan brings a wealth of experience having made his debut in the series back in 2012.
Adam joined the BTCC as a prize for winning the Ginetta GT Supercup and after a tricky rookie year, showed his pace in 2013 with a switch to his own family-run team – picking up a maiden podium finish on home soul at Oulton Park.
A move into a Mercedes A-Class from 2014 kicked off Adam’s most successful spell in the series as he became a BTCC winner and consistent front-runner, and following a stint with BMW, he returns to front-wheel drive targeting his best season in the series to date.
Michael Crees
Fan favourite Michael Crees returns to the grid with Team VERTU hoping to battle for his best results to date in the series. Despite only starting racing in his 30s, Crees was successful in Ginetta racing before joining the BTCC grid for the first time in 2019.
The following season saw him secure the Jack Sears Trophy title – open to those drivers without an overall BTCC podium – whilst Crees has since gone on to compete in the Formula 1-supporting Porsche Supercup – appearing on track at both the Monaco and British Grands Prix.
