The latest Nissan Ariya builds on the model’s core strengths, improving a range of features, as well as offering a handsome facelift.
The shiny new exterior evolves Nissan’s ‘Timeless Japanese Futurism' design philosophy, with a cleaner and more seamless front end.
The large black panel on the Ariya’s nose has been removed, the air intake lowered and the LED headlight cluster has been reshaped, giving the car a stronger, more premium stance.
Newly designed 19-inch wheels are another refined element, alongside the new paint option ‘Plasma Green’. Overall, the car appears tastefully minimalist and more of a confident character.
Inside, a redesigned central console increases the storage space up to 3.2-litres and incorporates the latest generation 15W wireless charger.
The 2026 Aryia comes with the latest generation of NissanConnect, which has Google built-in, offering drivers an enhanced connected experience.
Navigation is provided via Google Maps, which can automatically create routes that consider and insert charging stops, making long journeys easier and more efficient.
The system can also activate battery pre-conditioning when approaching a charging station, to ensure the fastest possible charging times when plugged in.
The Ariya also includes Nissan’s semi-autonomous driver assistance system ProPILOT, which has received fine-tuning, allowing for faster response times and better, smoother adjustments.
More generally, the ride comfort is enhanced with updated suspension tuning, focusing on improved stability, reduced vibrations and overall, a smoother experience, particularly for long distances.
For DC rapid charging, the 2026 Ariya supports speeds of up to 130 kW, enabling efficient long-distance travel and reduced charging times.
The 2026 Ariya offers AC charging via an 11-kW bi-directional on-board charger, supporting Vehicle-to-Load (V2L).
This new V2L functionality allows compatible electrical devices to be powered directly from the vehicle, providing up to 3kW of output when stationary, whether that’s charging a laptop or even powering an electric rice cooker.
